Empire Zone
Silver Hill Technology Park is entirely within a designated Empire Zone. All Zone benefits are available to qualified occupants. Up to 100% reimbursement of real estate taxes, sales tax relief, electricity rate relief and other benefits are available to qualified job creating employers.
BuildNowNY Program
- The 135 acres of commercial building lots and parcels are qualified under the BuildNowNY program and are "shovel ready."
- New construction building permit availability is 30 days from submission of building plans to the local code enforcement office.
- The SEQR review process has been completed and pre-approval is in place for up to 640,000 square feet of new construction on up to 19 parcels.
- Pre-approved building sizes range from 10,000 to 120,000 square feet. Those buildings may be built on parcels ranging from 4 to 25 acres.
- The sites and approved building sizes may be aggregated. For example, one 640,000-square-foot building could be constructed using the entire Park as the site.
